1.4. Data controllers and processors are JSC Estont and educational institutions (or) municipalities using JSC Estont platform services.
1.5. The purpose of data processing is to ensure the daily functions of educational institutions, smooth communication among Platform users, information dissemination, and successful identification.
1.6. User data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation No. 2016/679 (EU) (hereinafter - GDPR) and the Republic of Lithuania Law on Personal Data Protection.
1.7. Please note that the Privacy Policy may change, so we invite you to familiarize yourself with the latest version of the Privacy Policy on the Estont website.
2. Data Processing
2.1. We are JSC Estont, a private limited liability company, legal entity code 305774796, located at Musninkų g. 14-7, Vilnius, Republic of Lithuania. Contacts for personal data matters: email support@estont.lt, phone no. +370 607 77738.
2.2. On the Estont platform, data necessary for the functions of educational institutions, integration with student or teacher registers, and successful identification of data subjects on the Estont platform are collected and stored.
2.3. Personal data is processed to provide services, fulfill contractual obligations, integrations, and legal obligations. Decisions regarding the collection, processing, storage, and deletion of data about data subjects on the Estont platform are provided only to registered users.
3. What Data Does Estont Collect?
3.1. When providing our services, we may process personal data of the following categories of data subjects:
3.1.1. data of preschool-age children;
3.1.2. data of parents/guardians of preschool-age children;
3.1.3. student data;
3.1.4. parent data of students;
3.1.5. teacher data;
3.1.6. system administrator data;
3.1.7. visitors to Estont websites;
3.1.8. individuals who have submitted inquiries to us.
4. For What Purpose is the Data Processed?
4.1. We respect your privacy and process and collect only such Personal Data as is necessary to achieve the specified purposes of Personal Data processing.
5. Obtaining User Data
5.1. Educational institutions that have signed a service agreement with JSC Estont are responsible for inputting user data into the Estont platform.
5.2. At the request of educational institutions, data may be uploaded to the Estont platform by JSC Estont.
5.3. Data is uploaded to the Estont platform automatically/through 3-rd party integrations.
5.4. System users enter their own data.
6. Data Sharing with Third Parties
6.1. We have the right to share your personal information with other parties if required by law or necessary to protect or improve our activities.
6.2. We may transfer your personal data to specific services or carry out integrations (e.g., exporting data to student registers).
7. Data Storage and Deletion
7.1. Data on the Estont platform is not used and stored longer than necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was intended.
7.2. User data on the Estont platform is deleted when the contract expires or is terminated with the educational institution.
8. Cookies
8.1. We use internet cookies and page signals. All our cookies are functional - i.e., designed to ensure the functionality of the platform. We strive to minimize sharing user information with third-party platforms providing us with their services (e.g., Google Analytics) as much as possible.

If you believe that your rights as a data subject may have been or are being violated, please immediately contact us with a complaint at the email address support@estont.com. We undertake to contact you within a reasonable period and inform you about the progress and results of the complaint investigation.

Educational institutions using the Estont platform services are responsible for ensuring that the data you provide to us is accurate, correct, and comprehensive. If your provided data changes, you must promptly inform your educational institution about it.
12. Changes to Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is subject to change and update as needed. The latest version of the Privacy Policy will take effect upon its publication on the Estont website. The 'Last Updated' date at the bottom of the Privacy Policy indicates when the Privacy Policy was last updated.
